Alamo Drafthouse Coming to New Shopping Center in Cedar Park, Texas

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema announced on March 30th, that it is planning new state of the art theater in the new Lakeline Market Shopping Center at the corner of Lakeline and Pecan Park boulevards, adjacent to Lakeline Mall.

Alamo Lakeline will have 10 screens, the largest of any Alamo theater yet, and boast a bar for beer lovers with a robust selection of brews on tap, the company said.

"Ever since opening the Alamo Lake Creek in 2003, we have had tremendous support from the neighborhood. The New Alamo Lakeline will be the newest state-of-the-art Alamo design. We are so proud to bring it to our loyal fans in north Austin," said founder and CEO, Tim League.

The current Lake Creek location will remain open, as well.

Lakeline Market is a new community retail center being developed at the southwest corner of Lakeline Boulevard and U.S. Highway 183 by a partnership of the Barshop & Oles Company of Austin and H-E-B Grocery Company.

The initial phase of Lakeline Market is projected to open in November of 2012 and will feature a 117,000 square foot H-E-B Plus! and Fuel Station, according to a release by Alamo Drafthouse.

Additional buildings will be constructed to accommodate retail, restaurant and service tenants and upon full build out the project is projected to total 265,000 square feet.
