Please join us as we welcome Jim Doehring from Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel winery for an elegant evening of food and wine.  Jim will share stories from this award winning winery as we enjoy the following menu crafted specifically to pair with his incredible wines.

Proscuitto wrapped melon topped with a balsamic honey glaze

1st Course

Poached Citrus Lobster tail served over a seven leaf lettuce tossed with lemon vinaigrette

Paired with 2010 Far Niente Chardonnay, Napa Valley

2nd Course

Five spice smoked duck breast topped with a dark plum reduction and served with a savory palenta

Paired with 2010 EnRoute ‘Les Pommiers’ Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley

3rd Course

Grilled lamb chop topped with a blackberry demi glaze, served with  purple truffle whipped potatoes

Paired with 2009 Nickel & Nickel ‘Hayne Vineyard’ Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley

4th Course

Prime ribeye seasoned and grilled to perfection served with a dried berry risotto and bacon wrapped haricot verts

Paired with 2009 Nickel & Nickel ‘State Ranch’ Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley

 

5th Course

Carmelized peach up-side down cake topped with peach ice cream and caramel

Paired with 2006 Dolce Late Harvest Dessert Wine, Napa Valley
