 As a third generation Napa native, it is no surprise that Rob Lawson has cultivated a passion for wine and winemaking. Rob's grandfather became Beringer's president in the late 1960s, blazing the path for future generations. Rob's father is a grape grower and has held positions at many top wineries in Napa Valley, including; Robert Mondavi, Louis Roederer and Trefethen. Rob's pedigree includes a tenure as CEO of Napa Wine Company where he worked with luminaries such as Helen Turley, Heidi Barret and Paul Hobbs. Rob and his wife, Pavi, founded PAVI WINES in 1998.  As the winemaker for PAVI WINES, Rob seeks to "capture the true varietal and regional character of the varietal by pairing New World technology with traditional techniques" to create wines that are both fruity and robust in flavor and texture. Rob's consulting expertise has made him much in demand with a number of clients in California and around the world.
