BRIO Tuscan Grille, a BRAVO | BRIO Restaurant Group (BBRG) concept known for its Tuscan-style menu, will open its first Austin location on November 29, 2012 in the Arboretum at Great Hills. This will be the seventh Texas location for the Italian eatery.

"This is an exciting and dynamic time for the growth of the BRIO brand," says Jay Ellis, District Partner for BRIO. "We’re thrilled to come a part of the Austin Arboretum — this area represents the city’s best shopping and thriving business destination. We look forward to bringing the pleasures of the Tuscan country villa to the local community."

The official BRIO grand opening ceremony will take place at 10:45 a.m., November 29, 2012 with major Austin area influencers, city officials, executives and local community members in attendance.

Known for its selection of grilled and oven-roasted steaks, chops, fresh fish and made-to-order pastas, BRIO (meaning "lively" or "full of life") is a casual, white-tablecloth restaurant serving authentic, northern Italian cuisine. The more than 7,000-square-foot restaurant, will feature a Tuscan-style design reminiscent of an Italian villa. Interior features will include: hardwood Cypress flooring; arched colonnades; handcrafted Italian mosaics; sizable wrought-iron chandeliers; and Arabescato marble-imported from Italy. BRIO will also feature a terrace complete with seating for up to 100.

In addition to an extensive lunch and dinner menu, BRIO will also offer Saturday and Sunday brunch from 11a.m. – 3:30 p.m., and their $3.95 Tuscan Tasters bar menu, featuring standouts such as Spicy Shrimp and Eggplant, Beef Carpaccio, BRIO Burgers and several flatbreads and bruschettas, Monday through Friday from 3-7 p.m., and a reverse happy hour from 9 p.m. to close.

During the week, guests can cool off in the bar with $5 weeknight drink specials from 3p.m.-7pm and 9pm to close, with cocktails such as BRIO’s house made sangrias, mojitos, martinis and wine. New to the lineup will be their $5 Martini Wednesdays, which features more than a dozen martini specialties available both in the bar and dining areas.

BRIO will be located at 10000 Research Blvd. and open seven days a week Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Executive Chef Craig Emerson and General Manager Marc Burnikel will head the management team.
