2010 Palomino-Chardonnay

With only 13 cases produced, this heavenly blend has been created of 67% Palomino, a grape traditionally grown in Spain for sherry, and 33% Chardonnay grapes.  Though crisp in the finish from the minerality from the Texas “terroir”, the unique nectar-like quality that is the signature of the Palomino grape glides over the palate finishing in a silky-satin, almond finish.  The initial aromas of honey, vanilla, pear and melon are enhanced as the wine breathes in the glass.  Serve this scrumptious vintage with Dublinger cheese, seafood, chicken, pork tenderloin and especially with your Thanksgiving Dinner.
