Your trail ticket allows you to enjoy two specially-selected wine tastings, paired with a terrific holiday food sample at each winery on the trail.

As an added bonus, have your ticket stamped at FIVE of the participating trail wineries and receive the fourth in a series of commemorative keepsake crystal wine glasses. This year, the 19.5-ounce glass features the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail logo commemorating the year, 2012.

This holiday trail package, worth almost $70 per person, is yours for the low single ticket price of $25, plus tax and handling fees or $45 for a Ticket-for-Two, plus tax and handling fees. You have four days, on the first two weekends in December, to use your ticket and visit NINE** great wineries along the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail. Our wine and food pairings are listed below.

Bernhardt Winery: White chocolate Tartlet or veggie Tartlet paired with sweet Blanc Du Bois or Sarah, our Meritage blend.

Cork This! Winery: “Mom’s Holiday Meatballs” paired with Irreconcilable Differences Syrah and Mistletoe Mistake Cranberry Chianti.

Messina Hof Winery: Roasted Garlic Cabernet Barbeque Chicken Sliders paired with Messina Hof Cabernet Sauvignon Rea Gae Vineyard and Sophia Marie Rosé.

Pleasant Hill Winery: Collina Bianca to whet your pallet. Famous “Sicilian” chili paired with and your choice of Collina Rossa or sweet Collina Rossa.

Retreat Hill Cellars: Pastelito de Pollo, Queso y Cranberry Picante (Spicy Chicken, Cheese and Cranberry Empanadas) paired with Blazin’ Blush and Bottom’s Up Pinot Noir.

Retreat Hill Winery & Vineyard: Pork tenderloin, slow-smoked with French oak, paired with FM 1836 Riesling and Vintner’s Blend.

Saddlehorn Winery: Holiday Tamales paired with Barn Red and Chardonnay.

Texas Star Winery: Freshly baked gingerbread topped with Texas Star Cranberry Sauce and 17K Chérie Glaze paired with Mulled Cranberry Wine and Prickly Pear Wine.

Windy Winery: Shrimp Angels on Horseback & Jumping Devil served with Hot Mango Chutney paired with Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
