Lustre Pearl to Host Special Earth Day Happy Hour Concert Designed to Rock the World - Austin, Texas

Lustre Pearl, the funky little Rainey Street bar that launched a revolution in Austin’s bar scene, is presenting a happy hour event designed to rock the world. In conjunction with Rainforest Partnership, an international nonprofit organization committed to protecting tropical rainforests, Lustre Pearl will host the Earth Day Happy Hour Benefit Concert on Friday, April 19 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Including live music from several local bands and musicians, this special happy hour concert, benefiting Rainforest Partnership, will feature food provided by some of Austin’s favorite food trailers and specialty cocktails with a rainforest theme. Guests can participate in the rainforest raffle, with a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime travel adventure to the lush rainforest, become one with nature at the petting zoo, and will be encouraged to paint their own rainforest masterpieces on Big Ass Canvas, an interactive art experience that will help raise funds in support of Rainforest Partnership.

Tickets to the Earth Day Happy Hour Benefit Concert ($50 per person) include admission, two raffle tickets, and access to food, drinks and the petting zoo. Guests who purchase a Rainforest Partnership membership at the happy hour event will be entered into a drawing to win a trip to Peru. One hundred percent of the proceeds from raffle and ticket sales will benefit Rainforest Partnership’s work to protect tropical forests in Ecuador and Peru. As a way to showcase Austin’s commitment to creating a sustainable world, the event will also include demonstrations from Texas Disposal Systems, which will be on hand to highlight their environmental efforts and ensure the happy hour concert event is zero waste.
