Let us discover the exceptional wines of Rioja. I am the Wine Educator for Vibrant Rioja the trade body of  Rioja here in Texas and I will be leading you through a structured tasting. The wines will cover the different quality levels and styles available in the Texas market.

We will be learning about the region, its history, soils, climate and styles of wine and wine making.

Phil’s Wine Lounge is happy to announce the return of their popular sommelier series on May 22nd. With their successful run with guest sommeliers that showcased the talents , Phil's sommelier Vanessa Trevino Boyd is now gearing up for summer with four new dates. Beginning May 22nd, Phil’s Wine Lounge will host a series of intimate tastings every other Wednesday from 6-7:30 that will encompass a variety of subjects pertaining to our favorite libation. The H-E-B Wine Walk @ Market Street is one of the most popular and festive evening events during Wine & Food Week.  Held at The Woodlands’ Market Street, 9595 Six Pines Drive, The Woodlands, TX  77380, on Thursday, June 6 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.   Come to shop, sip and stroll as you explore the magic of Market Street during this casual and most entertaining event. During the H-E-B Wine Walk, 34-acre Market Street transforms into a festival-like atmosphere with guests enjoying 40 tasting stations featuring wines from around the world, craft beers, food sampling and demonstrations. It's a sizzling experience. Grab your girl friend, guy friend, neighbor friend, work friend. If there's anyone you like - they'd like to be at Sips, Suds & Sliders. But be forewarned - after selling out for the past two years, you don't want to wait to get your tickets and be turned away as your stomach growls from the yummy smells. The doors open at 5:30 pm for wine and craft beer sampling. The aroma of meat searing on the grill will rev up your appetite.

At 6:30 the sliders are served and then it's game on. You'll choose your favorite slider while the judges choose their sliders. Restaurants and chefs have their "Game On!" as they compete for the coveted Shining Slider Award.
