Fonda San Miguel Olive Oil Dinner-Saturday, Aug 25th 7:30pm

Join us for a very special dinner at Fonda San Miguel featuring Con' Olio Oils & Vinegars extra virgin olive oils. This dinner will showcase Fonda's exquisite plates and how fresh extra virgin olive oil makes the difference in each entree. Author, Tom Mueller will also be in attendance to discuss his book "Extra Virginity: The Sublime & Scandalous World of Olive Oil" and his work against fraudulent olive oil. 

 Dinner will begin at 7:30pm on Saturday August 25th at 2330 W. North Loop.

First plate:
Ceviche las brisas- white fish ceviche marinated in lime juice finished w/ Arbequina EVOO
Ceviche de Langosta y Mango- Lobster marinated in freshly squeezed citrus & mango juice & topped with mango salsa & avocado. Finished w/ Blood Orange EVOO

Second Plate:
Ensalada (mango, radish, cucumber, carrot, strawberries) - Raspberry or Strawberry Vinegar with Chemlali EVOO

Third Plate:
Pescado Veracruzano-Broiled fish fillet in the traditional Vera Cruz tomato sauce, capers, onions, & Spanish Olives. Finished with Coratina/Frantoio EVOO

Fourth Plate:
Churros-pan fried in EVOO and served with a chocolate ganache sauce

Dinner includes 4 courses, 2 glasses of wine, tax, gratuity and fun!
