23rd Annual Lone Star Vegetarian Chili Cook-Off

Chili Masters, get your cooking teams ready!

On November 13th, the 23rd Annual Lone Star Vegetarian Chili Cook-Off will be underway. Contestants from all over Texas will be coming to Round Rock to compete in the annual best tastin' heart-healthiest chili cook off EVER.

Teams can create any kind of vegan chili imaginable for the contest and pushing the limits is encouraged. It's truly a No Holds Barred Vegan Chili Cook Off.

Have a recipe for the world's best Habanero chili? Perhaps a secret family recipe that's been handed down generations? Maybe you have one for a delicious Green mango chili? And what about a Fifteen-bean chili? Does your chili have an amusing kick, a nice smooth flavor, a good balance of spices and peppers? Or spicy and tasty with an impressive and aggressive tang?

This contest is for you! You're only limited by your imagination. So start concocting that masterpiece..........now.

If, however, you're more of a casual chili observer, your fee paid wristband gets you a bowl, a spoon and more chili than you can shake a ladle at. We'll have libations on hand to quench your thirst or put out any mouth-related, chili-instigated fires.

For more information on entering, rules (what few there are) and cash prizes, visit the official cook off website www.veggiechilicookoff.
