Expand your taste for and knowledge of French wines with charming wine selections from the Rhône, Languedoc and Roussillon regions. Join us to learn about wines from Spain, which is an ancient wine producing country and has been making wine for thousands of years. Today, Spain has become one of the leaders in the wine world, producing high-quality wines at mind-blowing prices.

In this class, we will taste 6 fine wines and will learn what makes them unique (soil, climate, grape variety, winemaking philosophy). We will talk about how to choose wines for consumption versus collection, the importance of vintages in different wine regions, and the best food to pair with the wine.

The class will be led by professional sommelier and wine educator Svetlana Yanushkevich, owner of WineNot Boutique in Nashua. Svetlana has spent the majority of her life surrounded by wine. She grew up on the southern peninsula of Ukraine, in a territory renowned for its 2,000-year-old winemaking tradition. After moving to the US in 2002, she built upon that foundation by managing wine programs at several prestigious restaurants and earning a diploma from the renowned Wine and Spirit Education Trust in London.
