The French Cellar presents the sixth Wine Appreciation Class in a series of twenty, for the year 2013.  Our new class, "Wines of the Southwest" showcases 8 distinct Red, Rosé and White wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon region.  Such wines as a sparkling White from Limoux, a Rosé from Moulin de Gassac-Guilhem, an old vine Pic Saint-Loup, and a Pinot Noir from Domaine de Mouscaillo in Limoux, will be poured.  The interesting contrasts of these wines, will make for an enjoyable tasting in comparing and contrasting the varietals.  All of these properties are approximate to the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea.  Class is 7:00 PM to approximately 9:30 PM.  We will serve a light French cheese buffet, to help understand the relationship of food to wine.  Classes are limited to 16 participants, so please call 408.354.0993 for reservations.  Cost is $60 per person.  Join us for an evening of interesting and affordable wines!  À vôtre santé!
