Estância Churrascaria to Open New Location at The Arboretum

Estância Churrascaria to Open New Location at The Arboretum:
Brazilian Steakhouse to Include Expanded Menu, Extended
Salad Bar and Award-Winning Wine List

Austin’s first authentic Brazilian steakhouse is expanding with a new location at The Arboretum, bringing the rich culture and flavorful cuisine of Southern Brazil to the North side. Estância Churrascaria, the fine-dining steakhouse that has for years been delighting Sunset Valley patrons with its skewer-grilled meats, extensive salad bar and a genuine Brazilian experience, is opening a new restaurant location at 10000 Research Blvd., in The Arboretum.

Scheduled to open in late September, the new Estância steakhouse will be housed in the former Serrano’s space, an expansive, 8000-square-foot location that nearly doubles the size of Estância’s Sunset Valley restaurant. Estância owner Ironi Darosa has made extensive renovations to the space, stocking the restaurant with new equipment and creating a warm, welcoming and rich environment inspired by the famed steakhouses of Brazil.

“While Estância’s Sunset Valley location has been very successful, we wanted to expand in The Arboretum area in order to offer the business community and neighborhoods of North Austin the experience of an authentic Brazilian steakhouse,” Darosa says.

The Estância Arboretum location will include many of the menu favorites the Sunset Valley location is celebrated for, including the largest selection of tableside-sliced meats in Austin, traditional Brazilian side dishes and a substantial salad bar. However, thanks to the new restaurant’s spaciousness, Estância at The Arboretum will include an even grander, extended salad bar featuring dozens of fresh produce items, imported cheeses and cured deli meats. The unique menu will include more than 14 cuts of savory meats skewer-grilled to diners’ desired temperature and sliced tableside by the knowledgeable Estâncía chefs, as well as the addition of imported cheeses, aged salami and prosciutto, and other chilled meat varieties, all served alongside traditional Brazilian side dishes like polenta, garlic mashed potatoes, rice and beans, and golden-fried bananas.

As with the Sunset Valley location, the Estância Arboretum steakhouse will feature an impressive wine list comprised of hand-selected wines from the best growing regions throughout the world. From Napa Valley and Sonoma County, to Argentina, Brazil, Chile, France, Italy and Australia, Estância’s extensive selection of wines were chosen to perfectly complement the restaurant’s authentic cuisine. The new location will also offer a variety of cocktails and after-dinner drinks, including the best Caipirinha – the national cocktail of Brazil – in all of Austin.

“We are so thankful for the support we have received from the Austin community and look forward to developing more wonderful relationships in the Arboretum area,” Darosa says.

The new Estância Churrascaria is located at 10000 Research Blvd. in The Arboretum in North Austin. Featuring more than 14 cuts of savory grilled meats, a bountiful salad bar and an award-winning wine list, Estância is Austin’s first authentic Brazilian steakhouse. Upon opening in September, The Arboretum location will be open daily for lunch and dinner service.
