Say good-bye to $50 wines on Tuesday. Maybe it’s the economic slowdown and our new, thriftier mentalities, or maybe it’s the fact that many of us are swapping nights on the town for casual meals with family and friends at home, but the demand for more affordable wine is soaring. But this doesn’t mean we’ll settle for box wine or the limited selection at Costco. The pressure is on the boutique wine sellers around the country to provide interesting and quality wines for less, and to our delight, they are stepping up to the challenge. So, in search of a few solid wines that blend high quality with pleasing prices, we will be pouring our favorite wines under $35 on Thursday April 11th. 7-9PM $15
