2005 Sawyer
Delightfully balanced between lush fruit and velvety tannins, this is an elegant wine that opens with intriguing aromas of wild blackberries and black currant layered with classic mocha and spice characteristics. On the palate, the dense blackberry is accompanied by cassis, and chocolate, while hints of the signature 'Rutherford Dust' linger on the graceful finish.
2007 J Moss, Ponti Road Vineyard
Dark ripe fruit of plum and black berry followed by a hint of dust, cedar and cigar flavors. This silky smooth complex Rutherford wine brings outstanding depth and body with medium tannins and a lush finish.
2009 Frank Family, Rutherford Reserve
The 2009 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon shows deep purple and blue tones. Fragrant notes of ripe dark fruit reduction, licorice and allspice, along with scents of exotic woods and new leather reveal a masculine and sophisticated side to this Cabernet Sauvignon. The palate is soft and luscious yet powerful and concentrated, with sweet plum juice flavors, chocolate and hints of coffee, leaving a lasting impression on the palate. 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot. Aged in French oak.
