Join us for the 5th Annual Bits & Bites, El Centro College’s popular celebration of food and drink, benefitting the Food and Hospitality Services program. On Sunday, March 10, 2013, we’ll transform the El Centro Dining Room, Kitchen, and Student Center into a showcase of spirits, sweets, and savories from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
El Centro has been training food professionals in Dallas since 1966, setting the standard for culinary training in the metroplex. Our alumni are legion and legendary, working in every successful kitchen, banquet hall, dining room, and cocktail lounge in North Texas.
Every year “Bits and Bites” honors those who have made significant contributions to the program and the hospitality industry. The 2013 Honorees are, Shari Carlson I Chef and Owner of Dessert Dreams and Dunia Borga I Chef and Owner of the La Duni Restaurants.
