On Thursday, March 7, Vinoteca, the vibrant, third-floor wine bar adjoining Four Seasons’ Quattro Restaurant downtown, is going to begin a very different kind of wine dinner when it combines the traditional Italian Aperativo with the traditional American wine dinner. The results will be a pleasantly casual evening pairing a selection of Antinori Wines with a bountiful array of Italian food by Executive Chef Maurizio Ferrarese.
Vinoteca will present three food stations – one serving risotto made to order, one serving an variety of antipasto dishes and a third serving dessert. In addition, a cheese cart will be moved about the room offering guests cheeses. Each station will offer glasses of Antinori wines carefully paired to the food being served there. Guests may stand and mingle or sit at tables, but there is no assigned seating.
