Join us for a seated tasting of six big reds from the legendary high-altitude Napa Valley subregions of Atlas Peak, Howell Mountain, Diamond Mountain, Spring Mountain, and Pritchard Hill .  We will pour three wines from the classic 2007 vintage and three wines from the current 2009 vintage featuring selections from Dos Lagos Vineyards, Quill Wines and Behrens Family Winery. You will have the opportunity to compare and contrast Cabernets from five different mountain vineyards and gain an understanding about what makes these wines so special.
 
The tasting will showcase these wines on three dimensions:

Subregion
Vintage
Dos Lagos: Same varietal (Cabernet Sauvignon)  |  same subregion (Atlas Peak)  |  2 different vintages (07/09)

The event will be led by Ivan Thornton, owner of Grape Passion, a local distributor of ultra-premium California wines.  Accompanied by a selection of premium cheeses and charcuterie.
