Sobani Restaurant, serving American comfort food with Japanese inspired dishes in Lakeway, celebrates the day of romance with live music and a menu custom built to win the heart and taste buds. The neighborhood restaurant recently reopened with a new menu, updated interiors, patio and a full bar. In early February, Sobani will add live local music to the mix every Wednesday and Friday evening.
The Valentine’s menu will be available Thursday the 14th through Saturday the 16th. Highlights include:

· Strawberry-avocado salad with citrus-vinaigrette dressing for $7.95
· Seared diver scallops with sweet pea risotto for $19.95
· Steak Oscar with bacon hollandaise and au gratin potatoes for $33.95
· Chocolate molten cake with Amy’s Mexican vanilla ice cream for $7.95
Swing Blade, an Austin-based string jazz quartet, will enhance the romantic atmosphere along with Sobani’s intimate patio seating if weather permits. Reservations are recommended by calling (512) 266-3900.
Sobani serves modern American comfort fare with Japanese touches for lunch and dinner along with a full bar and daily happy hour. Located at 1700 RR 620 North in Lakeway, Texas, the restaurant takes reservations for parties of six or more and can host private functions for a range of sizes and occasions. Sobani also features al fresco dining on its tree-lined patio. Open Monday through Thursday from 11am-10pm and Friday and Saturday from 11am-12am.
